چکیده
SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2) is a novel coronavirus identified for the first time in Wuhan (China) 2019, responsible of current pandemic infection known as Coronavirus-19 disease (COVID-19). Wide range clinical presentation COVD -19 has been observed, from asymptomatic carriers to ARDS. The common signs and symptoms include fever, fatigue, dry cough, dyspnoea; severity due impairment function. radiological findings large variety lesions; bilateral interstitial pneumonia most concerning COVID-19. Pleural involvement described minority cases: pleural thickening had observed 32% cases whereas effusion uncommon being only 5%. Furthermore, significantly associated with worse prognosis. Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), beyond nasopharyngeal swab, detected other samples; up now, data about RT-PCR specific results fluid patients suffering 2019 5 (COVID-19) are very limited. gold standard diagnosis nucleic acid detection by real Reverse Transcriptase-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) swab. In this report, case positive Sars-Cov-2 pleura naso- pharyngeal swab patient affected severe failure described. As presence SARS-Cov-2 seems be poor prognosis, physicians should carry out assay both sample also when amount scarce not recognizable chest X ray. analysis multiple samples allows increase test reliability.

Diagnosis of Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus by Real Time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Assay in Iran
Background and Aims: Accurate and rapid diagnosis is necessary for effective control and prevention of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). In present study, was evaluated real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) assay along with diagnostic routine methods for the detection of all seven serotypes of FMD virus (FMDV), namely O, C, A, SAT1, 2, 3 and Asia 1 in biological sample...
متن کاملReal-time quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction.
The real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RQ-PCR) has become the method of choice for the quantification of specific mRNAs. This method is fast, extremely sensitive, and accurate, requires only very small amounts of input RNA, and is relatively simple to perform. These characteristics have made it the method of choice for minimal residual disease monitoring suc...
متن کاملDetection of Nocardia Asteroides Complex in Clinical Isolates by Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction
Background and Aims: Nocardia asteroides complex is the most common cause of infectious diseases due to nocardiosis. Interspecies differentiation of Nocardia genera is essential for prognosis and timely proper treatment, as well as for epidemiological studies. Since each genus has its own antibiotic resistance, precise careful diagnosis is of prime importance. As compared to biochemical and phe...
متن کاملReal-Time Reverse Transcription–Polymerase Chain Reaction Assay for SARS-associated Coronavirus
reaction (RT-PCR) assay was developed to rapidly detect the severe acute respiratory syndrome–associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV). The assay, based on multiple primer and probe sets located in different regions of the SARSCoV genome, could discriminate SARS-CoV from other human and animal coronaviruses with a potential detection limit of <10 genomic copies per reaction. The real-time RTPCR assay ...
متن کاملA real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction for detection and quantification of Vesiculovirus
Vesiculoviruses (VSV) are zoonotic viruses that cause vesicular stomatitis disease in cattle, horses and pigs, as well as sporadic human cases of acute febrile illness. Therefore, diagnosis of VSV infections by reliable laboratory techniques is important to allow a proper case management and implementation of strategies for the containment of virus spread. We show here a sensitive and reproduci...
